OUTDOOR USE & CARE

Our fire pits are designed for outdoor living, but like any quality piece, a little care goes along way.

Cover it when not in use – we supply you with a weather cover as standard to ensure your fire pits longevity. Use the weather cover provided to protect your fire pit from rain, frost, and debris. For enhanced durability, consider upgrading to our Premium cover option.

Let it cool completely: Allow the fire pit and all components to cool completely before covering or moving.

Clean with care: Wipe the metal and oak surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive materials and strong detergents.

Protect the oak: Our products are built to last, and we use only the best outdoor protection but like any natural product, over time, the oak may age gracefully, developing a natural patina. We can offer a Fire Pit refurbishment service to enhance the life of your unit (please contact us for details).

However, if you would prefer to maintain the unit yourself you can lightly sand the unit and apply a suitable outdoor wood treatment to ensure longevity.

Keep it ventilated: Don’t store in a completely airtight space, wood needs to breathe. Good ventilation helps prevent
condensation and mould.

Important Safety Note – Chrome Key. Always remove the chrome key when the fire pit is not in use: Store it in a safe place, well out of reach of children. This prevents accidental lighting and keeps your fire pit secure between uses.

Indoor Storage
If you’re keeping your fire pit inside during the off-season or in a shed or garage, follow these tips:

  • Clean and dry - Wipe down your fire pit and let it dry thoroughly before storage.
  • Use your cover - Even indoors, the cover helps keep dust off and protects the finish.
  • Ventilated space only - Avoid sealed plastic wraps or airtight rooms. Wood expands and contracts with moisture—good airflow helps prevent cracking or mould.
